THE REHABILITATION CENTRE
FOR CHILDREN WITH CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDERS

Neglecting physical rehabilitation of the children with central nervous system disorders (i.e. infantile cerebral palsy) most often leads to serve disabilities of both mental and motor development. Early diagnosis and suitable therapy, started at childbirth, greatly diminishes disabilities and sometimes even completely eliminatesthem. In consequence, there is a considerable improvement of the quality of the life for both the ill and their families. Thanks to this they can benefit from functioning in society. The rehabilitation centre for the children with central nervous system disorders will be established at 4 Kasztanowa str. in Krakow. Polish Association of the Sovereign Military of Knights of Malta has allocated the plot, donated by the City Council in Krakow, for this aim. The last year ”Ludzmierz Vespers”  Concert has marked the start of a series of events aimed at raising funds
for the building of the centre.
